releng/11.1 Intel 8256 Driver
The stable releases of FreeBSD (such as 11.1) don't have support for the built-in Intel 8265 wireless
card. There is a patch against HEAD (as of Oct-2017), but this doesn't apply to releng/11.1, which is what I
prefer to run on a production machine.
So, I pulled the iwm driver out of HEAD and did a little creative hacking to yank out the rate limiting code. The result appears to work just fine .. in fact, I'm editing this file via ssh over the wireless interface right now.
